As what I have heard from others, this book is really great. Though my sobriety is just over 14 months, I see, hear and comprehend every day life much clearer. My relationship with my wife and others has improved so good that I realize what alcohol has done to me (as well as others) in the past, that everyday living is sweeter now. I really like this book and recommend it to anyone who is trying to live a more spiritual & good life, specifically if you are doing it while working a program. I believe that the real meat of a good long term AA program involved a lot of difficult work with the 6th & 7th steps. The Book barely spares a paragraph on each step, but whether you believe in an active higher power or not, I haven't been able to remove my character defects without putting conscious effort in to it.
