Milwaukee discontinued these wire strippers, I think that was a mistake. I started used these over a year ago and hit a live circuit 3 times and they resisted damage very well. I'm still using my original pair. But, since my electrical supply house can't get anymore I'm buying them up.

Tired of flimsy ROMEX strippers of the stamped variety, I got and used daily these Milwaukee pliers. After a couple weeks my co-workers and I all have 'em and all agree they are the best. They feature perfect outer insulation perforators that cut through the paper, but not the wire insulation. The plier tips are good and strong, which was the main drawback to the old style. The wire cutter could be improved with the progressive cutting form one sometimes sees, but they will do. The locking-shut catch will be hard to remove, as I usually do, but for now they are easy to use. Glad we got 'em.

Great copy of Klein's NM tool. Much better quality. Too bad that they quit making it.

Ive used the yellow curved handle Klein strippers for years but i seem to wear out a pair after just a few months. Im on my second pair of Milwaukee strippers in as many years. These are built to last.
