This guitar is light weight and fun to play. The neck is small and fast. It has great sound and intonation. I thoroughly enjoy it. A must have in any collection!

Greats guitar. 2014 Gibson SG ‘61 reissue model, great to play, the minute you lay your fingers on it.

I like the SG guitar because it's light but sounds great. This 61 reissue's neck seemed to me to get a little chunky toward the bridge, but not enough that you couldn't get used to it pretty quick. The SG standard is a hot guitar for rock or blues. Eric Clapton and Angus Young are just a few musicians who l'm sure would agree.

I've found the 2010 61 reissue to be very solid with excellent fit and finish, even at the fret/binding locations. The one I purshased had replacement Seymour Duncans (JB and 59), sprague caps. Very pleased with the sound with elixir 10's installed. Excellent guitar and IMO, better than the new standards. As good as my Les Pauls and alot lighter!!
