This printer is working fine with wi-fi. I don't print much with color. It was easy to set up. Compact. I've done printing and copying and am satisfied with the results. I had a fancier all in one printer that could scan and I didn't realize this printer doesn't scan, but that's OK I didn't use that feature very often.

It's a good printer once you figure out how to work it lol. Took me 4 hours to set up the wifi . Can't go wrong for the price.

Works great right out of the box. Very easy to setup and connect to wireless router. I am using Windows 7 on my PC and I have a network for two offices in my home. I like that this is small and light enough to carry as a mobile printer if I need to. I loaded the drivers using the included CD, but I opted out of all the bloatware which the setup program allows you to do. I also did not register it because I don't want to be continuously hounded to buy more stuff from Canon. During setup, I ran the print head alignment sequence with no problems. Printing was crisp and clear on regular copy paper and on glossy photo paper. Print cartridges are expensive. One set of OEM cartridges cost more that the printer itself. These companies should give the printers away free cause they really hose you for the print cartridges. I am planning to refill them and/or buy replacements from some of the Chinese pirates. I have had very good results doing this with my HP printers, as that company is just as greedy. I tested the scanning feature, although I don't have much need for it. It works as well as any other scanner I have used and once again, the setup for scanning is simple and intuitive. The digital owner's manual is easy to read, but lacks some more specific instructions about scanning. Some of the illustrations could be much easier to understand if the pictures were better such as the envelope loading instructions. All they needed to do was show a photo of the envelope being inserted in the tray instead of a few paragraphs describing it, after which I just experimented with the right position. So it cost me one envelope printed on the wrong side. Not a big deal. This is a great little printer for very little money. The value is in its simplicity. I have no comment on the "Cloud Link" or printing from any mobile device. I have absolutely no use for cloud storage and the potential risk and changes that that involves. And, why would I ever want to print something from my phone? Guess I am old school, but I will never use those features. These companies just want to get in bed with us so they can find more ways into your wallet. I just want a printer for Christ's sake!Read full review

I set this printer up at home and could not believe how easy the set up was. The wifi on the printer actually works! Now all our home computers "print" to one printer and the actual print is also very good. We are all very pleased. I recommend this printer to anyone looking for quality print and ease of set up. Plus it has multiple functions and can do just about anything except turn on the dishwasher. It doesn't get any better than this little Canon. The Grandkids have named the printer "Little Bugger"! Ha!

This printer is pretty easy to set up. I'm using it with android. You have to insert the ink cartridges, before you can finish setting the printer up. I bought this printer which is supposed to have ink included. The printer was brand new in an unopened box, (which said Pixma 245 Black & 246 Color Ink included). There was no ink in the box. I called Canon Tech Support and let them know that, no ink came in my box, and they sent me out some cartridges. I called them after my email to Canon Customer Service wasn't replied to in about a day or two. After getting the printer to start up, I had to try to print something. So, I downloaded the Canon, (Inkjet/ SELPHY), Printer App and played with it, (trying to get it to print)! I noticed that the only documents, (from my internal or external memory) that would show up available to print were PDF files. Therefore I figured out that to get anything to print, (text, pictures, spreadsheets, etc.), I have to convert it to PDF first. For example, with a yahoo email file opened on Firefox, you just click the 3 vertical dots at the top right of the page, then click on "Page", then "convert to PDF". Click open the downloaded PDF File, and say open with Canon Print. Once the document is open in Canon Print, you can print it. Click Print. Many times you can click the share button and find a program in the list to convert the document to PDF in.Read full review
