Pros its a great 4 core CPU exceed my expectations and it overclocked very well and thermals are good on stock cooler but I had a am3 CPU cooler and I was able to put on the am4 socket with no problem much better temps. cons um don't really have any other than you might need a upgrade if you will be dong more work intensive task and if your ruining a came that requires more cores but most if not all games only require 4 cores so that's it awesome little CPU 100% recommend.

I would highly recommend this CPU, as long as you know and stay within it's limits. I am really happy I purchased and am using this CPU. I've got it set to 3.6 GHz, and am very happy with it. I do not play current AAA games, so that is not an issue for me. I am on a very tight budget, so I play older games, and this does really well with those. I also surf the web, use Libre Office and other light uses. Another great thing is the upgrade path. When I'm ready, I can upgrade to a Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7. I have this CPU on a B350 motherboard with 16 GB of RAM. I'm sure I'll be upgrading in the future, but I can do that when I'm ready. I have that option with this CPU. Right now, I have this CPU, and it's doing great.

I was able to get a 3.8 overclock on all cores. So a 800 MHz overclock stable on all core is great. Runs fast and got better with ram over clock.

Disclaimer!!! People buy the 1200 AF not the 1200 AE!!! The Ryzen 1200 AF(and 1600 AF) are 2nd gen Zen+ architecture that didn't make the cut to be named Ryzen 2000 series. But the 1200 AF is essentially a 2200G and 1600 AF is a 2600 non-X.
