The fact that this was not real leather was not as obvious in the discription. I had to research future, after the fact ( I had already put my order in ), to find that almost all "Leather" Chairs are synthetic. So my lack of knowledge was partially at fault here. On the plus side, this is the best chair i have ever owed--so far. I have already taken steps to protect the finish with the recommended cleaner. It will not last forever, as it is not real leather, but if I get two or three years out of it, I will not be too disappointed. I have fallen asleep in it twice, so I would have to say that it is very comfortable and much smaller than a lounge chair, but shares many of the same attributes. Assembly was easy--no instructions, just use deductive reasoning and it goes together fine. I could not give it five stars because it may not last, paid more than I should have, and even the manufacturer is unsure of its longevity. I only weigh 155 lbs so I would guess this will last longer than someone that uses it that weighs 200 lbs---only time will tell.Read full review

I opened the box and thought OMG. I was wrong. the chair went together so easy. operation is simple and precise, the leather is like stretchy plastic, thin and very comfortable-not puncture proof. if the arms get a hard hit they might break. there is a tip over factor on total lay-back. all in all it is good for the price and I would recommend it for light duty office-at home

This is the first chair I feel comfortable leaning over to grab something off the floor partially behind me because it does *not* have that stupid seat tilt all other desk chairs I have had in the past used. The back tilt is amazing, and I love the footrest. I do use a 'real' footstool along with, but this adds some extra support behind my knees and the footrest itself is actually really nifty. The headrest is definitely too high, but I'm really short so I'm used to that. I kinda want a spare seat cushion to help pad the seat, it feels a little under-padded maybe? But I am more than willing to spend a few dollars to get myself a spare cushion and probably rig up my own headrest to take this chair from great to amazing.

This is chair is great value. Sturdy and comfortable. However, I am 5'9" and feel that the chair is a bit to big for me. The chair sits a bit too high. Also, the lumbar support pillow is too thick.

Works great, only problem ive found is you may want to add a little blue lochtite or a milder lochtite to the threads of the arm rest bolts, theyve come a little loose twice over a period of about 3 months but retightening is really easy takes a min, and id highly recommend purchasing
