It is a great piece of equipment but to me the ear pieces are a little too small as they cut my ears. To watch movies I use another brand as it has larger and well padded earpieces. I only use the Plantronics for a program that I have that allows me to hear and talk to my contacts. I own two Model 645's and one does not fit tight enough and the other is too tight. But....all in all I would recommend the product to anyone.

As has become the standard with Plantronics, this is an excellent headset/mic. The one flaw (perhaps?), I found is the mic is so sensitive, you must be in a room with absolutely ZERO noise. This mic will pick it up easily. No one, not even the deafest Skyper, can say - "I CAN'T HEAR YOU" with this set. Crystal clear audio on both sides, as well as a handy volume/mute control on the cord. Very lightweight on the head, despite the dual earmuffs (I use mono mainly), this is a comfortable fit for any person recording podcasts, voice overs, songs, or even VOIP calls through message services like Skype, Yahoo, PalTalk, etc. I must admit, I'm not a fan of the "pin" plugs, yet when using the Plantronics tuned pin-to-USB adapter, it works without error. I suspect the adapter has a built in preamp for the mic as no one complained about my voice being too low. Absolutely enjoyable to wear and use for numerous HOURS each day - 7 days per week with no headaches.Read full review
Bought to use with voice chat/games on iMac. The first thing I liked was the price. Plantronics makes quality audio products and I was pleased to find these at a terrific price. Even though the tech is a bit outdated the sound and mic quality is very good. Compared to others it holds it's own. The one thing that I found troublesome is that they require some extra care as they are a bit fragile. We own four sets and have had to replace two as a result of damage after dropping. Fortunately at the prices they are still listed replacement is not a problem.
I bought this headset for job training purposes and the overall sound and feature qualities are great. Those who I speak to say I sound clear and with the volume control and mute features I can lower the voices of those who are loud and mute if I need to cough or there is unwanted and/or unexpected background noise. The downsides I seem to have are the earphone cushions. They don't stay on and are difficult to put back on. I also get frustrated with the inability to adjust the headset size as it is not adjustable. Overall it is a great product.
These hooked right up and began working with ease. I like Plantronics and they are usually very good. These function great as for sound and quality. The reason I gave such a low rating is the molded plastic that fits right over the ears is literally excruciating. The sharp plastic cuts right into my upper ears. I even took some sandpaper to them and finally my dremel. The dremel tool actually helped the most, and made them tolerable for longer periods, but I put them away as a backup set and ordered Razor Blacksharks. Sorry Plantronics. They are what they are... $10.00 headsets.
