Very, very happy with these speakers. They are much better sounding than the 6x9" speakers they are replacing, and puny 6.5" speakers I am used to are not even on the map. What impresses me is twofold, First, how much louder they are at the same volume level. I'd have to turn the 6x9's up to 11 or 12 to hear clearly. With these, I only need level 7 to hear very clearly. The second thing that impresses me is how clear they are, even at high volumes. These are WAY louder than the Jensens, and even at level 30, they sound clean and tight, with no blow-out or distortion. These make my mediocre sound system sound like I spent some money! After hearing the difference with these, I'm buying more for my other boat.

I purchased these Kenwood KFC2053MRW 8" speakers to replace my blown out Rockford Fosgate M282. Very glad I did. Same quality as the M282 for a third of the cost. One thing I didn't like that it doesn't have a removable grill but they are a very nice looking speaker as well.
