handles multiple items such as external drives, without problem. My only criticism is that the power supply doesnt really lock into the USB Hub - you have to make sure it doesnt move around or tape it to the hub -

The build quality was a little disappointing. After removing the unit from its wrapping, one of the decorative faux aluminum end covers, about the size of a nickel dropped off. It was still somewhat sticky from the glue on it, so I pressed back in place. Its holding, but of course it doesn’t get touched or moved now that its set up with everything plugged in. Other than that works well with no problems in the 3 weeks I’ve had it.

This is a very nice looking USB 3.0 hub, very well built, great product. Criticisms: The USB cable is only a couple of inches, much too short. Must be purchased with a USB extension cable for practical use. Also, be sure to purchase with a fairly beefy USB power supply.

This appears to be a well made product. It is sleek in design and sits very nicely under the screen of my aluminum Imac desktop computer. The USB ports are at a slight angle which makes them easier deal with in that it keeps them up and out of the way. I have another powered USB hub and the ports are on the front and that model takes up too much room on my desktop.

It worked fine for about 7 months and I only kept one usb cable in use 100% of the time. Plugged one or two more cables in from time to time, so the hub was not over worked. The ports kept going off line and then back on. This item looked good, trimmed in size.
