This is a movie about spies, or to be more specific, spy cars. Basically, the plot is that a group of "lemons" (i.e., bad cars) have found a huge reserve of oil in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. And they want to maximize their profit, so they plan to make people not trust the "organic" fuels (like biodiesel). So, the main bad guy, a multibillionaire by the name of Sir Miles Axlerod, sets up a huge plan to make people hate sustainable fuels. He starts a company called Allenol (all-in-all, ha ha) that is SUPPOSEDLY selling biofuel. HOWEVER, he is actually selling gasoline with an additive in it. He invites the world's top racing aces to a huge race on famous race tracks, using Allenol, and has a special camera built by an evil scientist car which shoots beams of energy and activates the additive in Allenol, destrooying the car's engine blocks. The plan is going quite well when Tow Mater accidentally gets involved, when a small container with microfilm of the camera, the oil rigs and the car in charge is given to him by mistake- and not the American secret agent who was supposed to get it. Then Finn McMissile and his Japanese sidekick have to recruit Tow Mater and get the canister of film. And the movie is full of awesome chase sequences, like when Finn McMissile infiltrates the oil rigs and is chased by all the bad guy cars. And there's another one when the bad guy cars are trying to get Tow Mater (who is in McQueen's pits) and Finn and his sidekick chase them and all that fun stuff. I really enjoyed the film, and you probably will, too! It's even better than the original Cars movie!Read full review

My son is obsessed with cars. We bought this dvd as a replacement for the one we wore out. Unfortunately, after about 40 minutes the dvd began to skip and ultimately just stopped working. Super disappointed...and so is my son.

When I first heard they were making a sequel to the 2006 Cars film I was surprised. I liked the original film BUT is not at the top of the Disney/Pixar films. For me, second to last just ahead of 1998's A Bugs Life. Other films would have made for better sequels. Perfect example 2004’s The Incredibles. You could have had a story there. This story made no sense what's so ever. We adults figured out the ending of who the bad guy or should I say bad car was I will NOT say it here so there are NO spoilers in this review. McQueen back in Radiator Springs. Next race & he takes Mater & other with him. BUT, the rest of the story. 2 time Oscar winner Michael Caine could have phones the voice work in on a role he can do in his sleep. How stupid Mater is, breaking up friendships & pushing other fuels in a mess of a story that just did NOT make sense. The positive I give to the video makers. At least they released the DVD the same as the blu ray. This TERRIBLE, I COMPLAIN ABOUT IT EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS, MISTAKE OF RELEASING A BLU RAY EARLIER THAN THE DVD, was not done here. The DVD was NOT the plain jane silver ones Disney has been doing when they make those blu-ray earlier releases. You get a real colorful DVD. No chapter search list a mistake. A few extras on it, nothing major. But, when the film was disappointment. Did not live up to the expectations , since 2006 the Disney/Pixar releases have been coming out in May or June and did great business. This one did come in first place for the opening weekend, but the final numbers. When you see the film you will understand why still a hit movie it just was not normal Disney/Pixar material.Read full review
Don't get me wrong, the movies are great except one has some very minor superficial scratches. That being because these are not the "factory sealed" DVDs that you'd buy from a Walmart or whatever. I can't say for sure bcuz you almost can't even tell but I'm pretty sure these were copied and burned then had the original "Cars" DVD sticker label placed on the disc so it looks Authentic. The boxes are not original or Authentic either. They just had the DVD cover paper places inside the plastic outer cover then they were sealed with plastic. NBD, the DVDs were a great deal and they play, that's all I care about. I just think it may be false advertising when they say "Brand New, Factory Sealed" without mentioning that they're not Authentic originals...that is all. I still recommend them and give 5 stars!Read full review
