Do not work, caustic chemical, took off what I did not realize in one of my gift earrings was gold plated! I googled and tried soda and water? It works! Took the grime and oxidation from silver and Gold after 10 minutes pour vinegar, voila! Sparklingly cleaned! Do not buy this crap, go to Walmart or walgreens!

It cleaned the moderately tarnished jewelry well within 10 minutes. However, the badly tarnished pieces did not get clean after three or four 10 minute cycles. I'm thinking I need to soak them several hours for any results, but don't want to inadvertently damage any stones that come with the gold and silver parts.
