I had to make the well it set in just a bit deeper but other than that they were a drop in replacement for what I had before. The sound quality is great now I am not your rock and roller but I like my country and I like to be able to hear it on the other side of the trailer while doing stuff around the camp site. The clarity is much better than what I had before I could not really turn the music up before they would crack and sound like crap. Anyway hope this helps someone make up their mind I think they are great for the price and how easy they were to install.

Even tough these are marine and waterproof they would work well in any application. They sound better or just as good as the Kenwood three way speakers I just installed at a cost of almost $50.00.

I use these speakers on the dash of my motorhome, so there is a significant amount of background noise. These new ones sound good. I've had water leaks in the past and the factory speakers became worthless. I had to drill new holes to mount these speakers as the original were on 60 degree spacing and a bit larger radius, while these are on 45 degree spacing. My chassis replacement 3/16" fast-on was very tight against the speaker tab.
