I've had one of these in the past. It lasted over 20 years. Solid stitching, great zippers, strong handle and sturdy strap. The previous stand bag from this manufacturer really took a beating and stood up to our snow/salt winter conditions. It carried 3 mic stands w/booms attached, then speaker stands, when re-purposed. I would recommend this brand to everyone. I even use their microphone stands and other accessories.

I had a need for a utility bag that would fit and carry several guitar stands, a small banner/backdrop system, and two mic stands. This Short Stand Bag (SSB) fits the bill perfectly. Even better, it is already labeled as to whats in it for the road crew! Past performance with similar OSS bags assures me that I have a reliable and long lasting product. Heavy duty construction is sure to outlive the thinner fabric bag I originally employed for the job. I had considered the LSB6500; although it would hold a bit more, overall length was too long for my particular loading situation.

I was pleasantly surprised by the apparent quality of the On-Stage SSB6500 bag. It's made from heavy cloth that looks and feels tough and sturdy. The zipper looks decent as well. I can't make definitive statements about how well it stands up to heavy use since it's still new, but I expect this bag will give good service. The only extra feature I might have asked for would be internal partitions to keep multiple stands from hitting and scratching each other in transport. That minor complaint aside, it's a good bag for the low price and I may buy another.

I now have 3 of these bags and use them for my video equipment (tripods, light stands and other hardware). The zipper is heavy duty, but the stitching on one of my early bags is starting to come apart. Considering the hard use these bags have taken, I can't complain. What's odd is that they are each slightly different lengths. The most recent one I bought is about 6" longer than the shortest of the 3 bags I own. The price is right, and I recommend these bags.

This is the 3rd one of these bags I've purchased in the past 12 years. I use the bag to carry mic stands and it works very well for that. In my use it carries 4 boomed mic stands and a triple tree guitar stand. This bag gets used for approx 30 band gigs a year. Eventually the zipper will lose it's tabs, then the zipper will fail, then one of the handles will wear out and break, and then it's time for a new bag. You couldn't make a better bag of this design from scratch and end up with a better product. So when my #3 bag eventually meets it's end, I'll get another one just like it. All in all, it's a good product for the price point.
