extends life of blender
replaced sticky seized bearing in blender that was getting worse over time (years - and probably got run thru dishwasher which can't be good for it). This was causing motor to overheat. product fits perfectly and blender is good for hopefully many more years.

I'm just not so sure it is genuine because it did have the quality look as the original I have !
I had made a mistake and bought one that is not genuine for much cheaper but it did big last that long. When I opened this one, it just did not look very authentic! It looks like the non genuine one I had ordered.
