Overall good value. Device is solidly built, looks and feels nice. The instructions, well, there is not much instruction on how to use it and what the included features actually do. I had to take a solid 30 minutes or so and try and figure it out. However, it is plug and play! So it works right away! but if you want to change how the scanner behaves (like change how long it takes for it to shut off on its own, etc), then you gotta do it by trial and error - luckily there's a simple reset barcode that puts the scanner back to default. Honestly though, for the price, this scanner is inexpensive and works great. It's a good deal. I would buy it again. AND I haven't even tried setting it up for wireless use, which should really be easy because all you do is scan an included barcode inside the booklet and it changes the setting on the scanner automatically. I just wish all the barcode-settings had more description to them as to what they all do, there's so many.Read full review

This bar code scanner works just as good as the scanners costing 3 times as much. Wireless feature is extremely handy!

I bought this to replace a scanner.with a cable. It is lightweight, and easy to use.. It also lets me go further from my computer than the short cable on the old scanner allowed. I like it. I use a scanner to find information on my book collection.

We had gotten one of these scanners a year ago and added 2 more this year. They work way above what I had expected for the price. We can scan items almost the length of our 200' building and never seem to run out of power even if we forgot to charge it the past night. Super easy to use. There were only 2 things we would change if we could. 1) The receiver size - the 3+ inches just sticks out from our laptop when walking thru the store. It has not been a major issue but I have seen scanners with much smaller receivers. 2) The way you need to unplug the power cord. We actually cut the little tab off all the plugs since we are not using them as corded models and use cordless only. It was just a bit difficult to unplug the cord from the scanner.

We wanted to cut the cord to our hand scanner. This one was a plug in and worked solution. We use it daily but low volume and it last several week between charges .
