Threw this in my 04 srt4 to add a bit of bump since the car had an amp kit installed already. I was unsure how good it ultimately would be but I was pleasantly surprised. After installation and playing with the gain on the amp I proceeded to try and find a volume on the radio to match the gain to with the rear pass thru seats down on my car's back seat. I found a position on the gain where with the pass thru seats down it seemed to match without being overpowering and then I put the sub in the proper position and closed the seats. Then I found it to be just a hair lacking. I ended up bumping the subwoofer output on my alpine radio to gain 4 and it got better. It hits pretty well, sounds very good with all types of music and gives the low end oomph the stereo was lacking. Its paired with an alpine cde 172bt deck, siriusxm tuner, kicker 6.5" door speakers, kicker 6x9s in the back package tray and a decent amp kit with a kicker fuse block and 50 ampere fuse. I am unsure if the car has tweeters in the dash at all as the srt4 had tweeters in the dash from factory. Not a bad little setup at all considering the overall price of the gear. Add some tweeters to the dash and I'll be very happy i believe.Read full review

Nice fit and finish and overall craftsmanship. Works well but a ported enclosure was a poor choice for this low power setup. I metered the amp and it's actually only peaking at about 150 watts not the claimed 500. Put a tennis ball in the port to seal it and it's much more efficient and the bass quality cleans up considerably. Overall for the price it does the job.

I bought this for my car and a friend’s car. Different atmosphere environments play better to the bandpass box than others. My car is a sedan and I had to seal the port for better sound quality, but my friend’s car being a hatchback it sounds very nice right out of the box. Keep that in mind when purchasing. If your application makes the sub sound like it’s swimming in air, you may need to seal the port.

My favorite thing about this is the contact screws. It uses a grub nut with philips slots and to me that is the best way. They are super smooth and make a good contact. The sound quality is good for what you are paying for but it is by no means a super loud huge thumping sub. It is good sound for the price. Box is very nice and the built in amp isn't seeming to over heat so far. Overall not a bad product. I would recommend to anyone that wants to add some bass to their vehicle.
