You can't beat the price. I was worried they would not be bright enough but indeed they are. Plenty of light for power outage situations in your home. Seem to be made well overall. Telescopes up smoothly. The metal contact for batteries moves slightly out of position making a little bit hard to install them correctly but this was easily overcome and they work great (contact is good once properly installed). Don't force the batteries in...use a flat knife to help slide the batteries in. Very happy with this purchase. The perfect holiday gift for anyone.

These Lanterns are perfect in an emergency, Very bright lights.. Great for camping trips, they are even water resistant. Plastic housing is light weight but very durable. I would recommend these lanterns to anyone who needed a light source without the need for a outlet. Adjustable height allows you to choose how bright the light is. Uses 3 AA batteries and the LED Lights allow for a longer battery life too.

the light is great especially in an emergency situation, such as power outage, working in attic, camping. However the LED lights are bright BUT NOT as bright as other lamps on the market, But for the price it OK, I recommend that you NEVER look into the LED lights , it will affect your vision,

Although plastic, not like the indestructable metal ones on TV, this is a SUPER deal. They work great. Since I'm going to use these indoors during power failures and NOT taking them to a combat zone they serve my purpose very well. And the price! Can't beat four for the price of one.
