This is a lot smaller than it looks and not the quality of the leatherman. It looks a lot more rugged and tough in the photos but once you get your hands on it, you realize there isn't much "use" for this little thing. Any one of these tools could snap from a daily chore.

I had a Leatherman squirt before this so I'm jaded. File does not work it is coated in the black enamel. Wire cutter on the main jaws barely works. Scissors work well and so does the convenient bottle opener. It is worth what you pay for it but i will be going back to the squirt when i loose this one, cause i will. I will always carry a small tool like this.

Blade loses sharpness after couple cuts and is hard to sharp again, the coating peel off really quick and really haven't used that much I got it for my wife, I won't buy gerber any more it used to be good product if you want a better one get letherman.

I purchased the Dime and the Leatherman squirt ps4 at the same time.I prefer the Dime because of the tools on it and will be carrying it.. However the Leatherman is a stronger multi tool. If either tool does break in the next six months, I doubt I will replace it. I am however, hard on multi tools, I have broken both the original Leatherman tools and the Gerber 600 series tools multiple times and replaced both. I wanted a small lightweight multi tool and these are the two I chose to try.

I have a micro tool kit which requires mini tools, this fits the bill in all ways, Good solid construction you would expect from Gerber, It has the perfect amount of tools, the pliers are spring action and the scissors work for a small pair. I highly recommend this for small kits where micro tools are required.
