I purchased this toy for my 4 yr. old son and in the beginning it was great. I bought on a Monday and by Saturday the fish would not work. After about an hour of fiddling with it, I gave up and made plans to return the toy. Before I left for the store I made one last desperate attempt and the fish worked. That was in May, by the end of the summer it was dead again...this time for good. After every use I was careful to shake out any extra water. I would also wrap a paper towel around it to soak up the water that drained. I was so sad because it was such a cool toy.
