This is a nice big size deep fryer and it heat up very quickly. We have a family of ... This is a nice big size deep fryer and it heat up very quickly. We have a family of five and we can make enough French fries for the whole family at one time. Takes ten to 15 minutes to cook to a nice slightly crisp texture. Simple pour old oil into a container with a tight fitting lid and toss into the trash, then wash with hot soapy water. The inside is Teflon (non stick) and cleans up nicely. I just have an over size plate under the fryer to keep popping oil from making to big a mess. Highly recommended.
