I have had one of these for ten years. It was a workhorse in our kitchen. My husband overloaded it with frozen bread and burned out the motor. So, finding just the base was perfect. Seller was easy to work with, and although she had a "no return" policy -- which I normally steer very clear of -- she had a lovely note explaining that if something wasn't right, to please notify her. Tried a 2 cup marinade - What a mess. Liquid every where. To powerful - cuts everything to mush to quickly. Could not cut onions, tomatoes or jalapenos for salsa. Afraid long arm from lid will be to easy to break. If arm breaks. unit is paper weight. Cost to high for a "3" cup food processor

I love this mini-chopper! I love to use it to chop onions without all the tears, but I find I'm making homemade salsa often, marinades for chicken and rubs for steaks, and lots of other great stuff. This is so easy to use and easy to clean. The sleek design leave no crevaces to dig out food from, the buttons are smooth, the work bowl, lid and blade can go into the dishwasher (although they are practically clean with a quick rinse). And the reversing blade is ingenious - food never gets stuck! Can't say enough good things about this product - its just done right!
This food processor is compact enough for easy storage, but a great size for most small jobs. I especially like the reverse blade speed feature.
