So over time I've sort of burned out on books supposedly written from a cat's point of view. This one is different. It take sno imagination at all to think one of my cats actually did write this. it's hilarious and actually gives a lot on insight into the way cats think. In this case? I bought a number of extra copies for my cat friendly friends.

For cat lovers, this is a must-have. Literate, exquisitely observed, and excruciatingly funny. This author has a great gift, and for those with cat-lover friends, YOUR gift issues have been solved. Rough quote: "This is my couch, that is my rug"...etc....ending with: "You really might as well get a hotel room." Does that sound like catlanguage translation? If not interested, I'll admit he did something on dogs. You can look it up. Sequel, about kittens. "I Knead My Mommy." Oh, the cuteness. We always thought they were crazy, and it turns out they are! I am deeply in love.
CATS speak out! The author really knows cats. Looks at cats from their own perspective and entertains us with her acumen. Humorous and realistic. It gives us a view through the eyes of our furry friends, and an accurate one.

This is a very cleverly-written book. Any person who has ever owned and spent quality time with a cat should enjoy this author's "tounge-in-cheek" type of humor. It is a lot of fun to read.

I found this book in a store, read a few pages in the car, and immediately went back and bought the only other copy. Then I bought several copies on EBAY. I am giving a copy to each of my kids (they all have cats), and several of my friends. I am also going to mark pages with cat names we have known, loved, been driven crazy by. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a cat or wants a cat.
