The grinder works fine for most of the coffee drinks with the exception of espresso and Turkish coffee. It doesn't grind enough fine for those drinks.

I was excited to have a burr grinder. This coffee grinder was primarily bought to make espresso and greek coffee. Tried it out on its finest grind setting and got a coarse grind, wasting some good coffee beans after several times trying to troubleshoot it. I chose this because the reviews were good and I was looking for something compact. THE PRO: Looks nice and does not take a lot of space on a counter. The CON: Does not produce a quality grind on the finest settings. So back it goes.

This coffee grinder is clearly made to replace the Melitta grinder. It works very similar to the Melitta grinder that died after a somewhat disappointing 3-4 run. This type of grinder will not give perfectly ground coffee with a high degree of control. If you need that spend more money, this is a value priced machine. That said one difference with the Melitta is the hopper capacity in 8 oz compared to the Melitta's 12. Considering how similar they are in other respects I don't understand why they stinted on that.

Bought this to use for a French press. The coarsest grind option is finer than pre-ground store coffee. Fine grind is good for espresso. Don’t buy if you’re looking to get grounds coarser than the store stuff.

The price was too much for the poor performance. Uneven grind, with small and larger granules and a small amount of the grind comes out of catch bin. A real disappointment.
