Soft Air Thompson 1928 Electric Powered Airsoft Gun Adj. Hop-Up 400-450 FPS The highly detailed Thompson Chicago Typewriter airsoft AEG rifle features authentic wood accents and a full metal body. The rifle also boasts an adjustable rear sight, steel gears, a metal gear box, and a high-cap "drum" style magazine. The rifle is powered by the included NiMH battery and includes a charger. The rifle can go from semi automatic to full automatic with the flip of a switch. The rifle fires 6-mm plastic BBs.

Good 'ol "Chopper"
This is a serious piece for the serious AEG gunner. Very good quality metal with synthetic wood-like stocks. It has the weight and dimensions of the real thing. Makes you feel like a "G-Man" or one of Capone's goons when you're blazing away. The only drawbacks are, it has white printing on it ie: serial number, Thompson logo etc, the bolt lever is on the side, instead of the top of the receiver like the real 1928, and the drum requires constant winding. I would still recommend it to Thompson fans and those looking for a nostalgic piece for their airsoft collection.

Get it before Great Depression V2 hits!
Could not be more satisfied with this thing. Feels and looks like the real thing and the polymer grips feel as described - realistic. Shot a board of wood and heard the same round ricochet off a tree branch instantly. This thing is powerful - no doubt. Pros: - Full Metal, - Powerful, - Sturdy, - Compatible with box magazines, - Simple disassembly with flat head screws, - You can't sweep a trench with an M4 Cons: - Not really blowback, (Doesn't actually matter - still makes an impression and I see no difference in my friends blowback AEG and this! Still feels equally great!) - receiver on side, (For internals sadly) - You need a flat head screwdriver if you wanna put this in a violin case! (Disassembly isn't too hard but a bit tedious) In all fairness, the few minor faults are PRACTICAL. Blowback takes more energy from the battery anyways, you won't mind the receiver on the side, and you can still fit this thing in a violin case it'll just require a bit of effort! This is no worse than any M4 on the field. Do get this legend.Read full review

thompson vs thompsom review
I bought it because I wanted an arr soft to go with my brothers bar airsoft. after I bought it I found there is an airsoft field close by. We went and saw the condition of the major abused guns for rent there and so I bought a second used gun off ebay so I wouldn't scuff up my new one. Great gun. and absoulty matches the real thompson and bar that we have but cant shoot unless we go to a range so there are great we can shoot these anywere. the metal ones are great. I bought one of the all plastic one for my brother to use instead of his bar so not to get if messed up. and its an ok nice gun but the all metal one is much better if your going to keep it for good. Id say the all metal is a very nice collector one and the all plastic is a very nice toy. the weight difference was a big supprise the plastic one weighs almost nothing. and the metal is much heavier. Both are good looking and nice pieces. and accurate to the real thing.Read full review

A beautiful full metal trench broom replica -- looks, feels and shoots great.
A beautiful brute with awesome firepower at a surprisingly low price. A heavy, full metal AEG, 400 fps provides real zip, and this is the smoothest full auto we've fired. It really feels as if you're "hosing" with rounds. The finish is spectacular: totally authentic, and the synthetic wood is very high quality, looks like real wood grain. The drum mag is a treat, too: very smooth feed, very easy to load, and incredibly easy to wind, plus it slides into place with a smooth, satisfying click.
