If you're good with electrical installs, this might be the product to put some more safety into your electrical supply. Requires finding the appropriate neutral (of 3 in some of my conduits) for the ground fault interrupter to work correctly. Fits into the old Q-line panel with no trouble, is made solidly, and has a nice memory feature that remembers the last trip cause. Could be helpful information. Once installed it protects all outlets and points of distribution on that breaker. This is probably not for major appliances, sump pumps and the like.

The most recent electrical code calls for dual function AFCI/GFCI in kitchens and baths. These are fairly expensive breakers, but here you can find real moneysavers.

Pros: Provides both ground fault and serial arc fault and parallel arc fault in the single unit. I did test it the on-board PTT (Push - To - Test) button as well as a sperry plug-in ground fault tester it tripped as expected. Cons: Is manufactured only in the 1" wide size, can't use it to replace a 1/2" breaker without rearranging the breaker stack in your service box. 5X the cost of a standard breaker, but worth it for the safety protection you gain.
