I have personally installed these sights on several different brands of my own pistols and like them a lot. However, be aware that on the Springfield pistols the original sights are installed at the factory using a 20 ton (I'm guessing) press and you won't be able to remove them with your normal sight removal tool and will have to use a hydraulic press to get them out. Not all gun shop/gunsmiths have such a press. The Truglo TFX Pro Tritium sights themselves are great.

These are a replacement set. Ive had them on my gun for years. As with most item they wear out over time. Very easy to get on target in low light. Highly recommend them

These sights are pretty good. The fiber doesn't pick up indoor light very well. Get them outside in daylight though and they really light up. The orange ring on the front definitely shines in sunlight and is easy to pick up. They are well made and sturdy. I would purchase again. And tritoum is tritium. It shines about as bright as any other.

I mounted these on a xds mod 2 . With my reader glasses , sights are perfect , target is blurry. With no glass ,both eyes open ,sights are blurry target is clear. Night or day these sights have great visibility. Bought a second set for a xdm .They work well one both short and long slides. Rears fit perfect. Fronts where tight on both slides. Installed with a sight tool.

Great upgrade for my Springfield XDS Mod2 in 45 ACP. You will definitely need to have a sight press if you want to change them out yourself, but with one just go slow and take your time and you will have a great upgrade with sights that are very easy to see.
