I originally purchased a new Bushnell Prime 1700 rangefinder from Cabelas. I was not impressed with the display. After doing the research, and also having borrowed one, I decided to go with this SIG KILO2200MR. It has a red display. The brightness is adjustable and supposedly self adjusts to the lighting. I didn't notice that as the same model I borrowed did. I almost gave it four stars. Not for the rangefinder but because I bought it used and it smells like an ashtray. Not to happy with that. Hopefully my solution to store it in a ziploc bag with a natural wood scent will help. Overall I am very pleased with the clarity of this rangefinder and the quick aquasision with 7X glass. Easy to use. Ranges lighting fast. Calculates line of sight for steep shots. SiG has a transferable warranty for the body and glass. Not the electronics though. I am glad that I bought this used. Some of the new models are expensive and are calibrated for drop points to be used with a SIG scope. Kinda cool but an unnecessary expense IMO. The KILO2200MR has what you want if you don't need a scope. Read full review

Aiming reticle not lined up with laser. 1 to 2 yards difference depending on the color of the target! That’s huge in archery! The .1 yard increments seem to be just for show. I couldn’t get it to measure any distances between 18.4 and 20.8 yards. I’ve tried the kilo 850 also, it wouldn’t range black targets at all!

A super compact rangefinder with easy controls and great features. Way smaller than my Bushnell Con-X, and ranges faster and farther than my Leica 2000. I use this for long range PRS style shooting, and at my job as an engineer, ranging distances for impromptu construction surveys. It's accurate, quick, and easy to stuff in a pocket. For precision shooting out to 1800, I've tried a bunch. This is the one to get. Combined with a Kestrel 5000(or any good anemometer with a density feature), a decent 3-20x scope or similar, and the App "Bullet Drop" or "Applied Ballistics", this can solve just about all your issues.

This is by far the nicest rangefinder I've ever used. It's fast, accurate, crystal clear and has options. Well worth every penny.

Great product. Able to range people at 1300 yards pretty easy. Tree lines from about 1600 yards and brick building at 1850. Immediate reads. Havent been able to take it over the 1850 yards. Pretty sure you would need perfect conditions to get it to the max yardage. Very happy with this range finder.
