Trijicon rmr type 2
The trijicon rmr is already legendary and the extra peace of mind of the upgraded type 2 makes it even better. I got the 6.5 Moa version for my Glock 19. I’m glad I got the slightly bigger dot version, my aging eyes appreciated it! I plan on building an AR Pistol truck gun and will definitely consider putting another type 2 rmr on that!

RMR is the way to go
I own 2 vortex vipers which I love btw. But the convenience of not having to change a battery for a few years is the kicker. Yes, you pay twice as much. But you also don’t have to “turn it on”, adjust the brightness, etc in a home defense situation. Not to mention the battery is only good on the vortex viper for 1.5 hours of continuous use. And another selling point about the rmr, with the viper, u have to remove the optic to replace the battery and then re-zero unless u get lucky. I own 2 vortex vipers which I love btw. RMR Perfection
Getting older and vision not what it was has made me make some adjustments. The RMR was the best of those adjustments for the pure joy of shooting. Tough Optic
What can I say about Trijicon products? Durable and easy installation on my M&P CORE pistol. For me, the learning curve of switching from iron sights to an optic has been tough but well worth it. I recommend installing Trijicon suppressor-height night aight to help align the red dot in low-light conditions.
