With a reasonable price, light weight and a well built binocular is an idealism if you're not a very picky person. In my opinion a 10x25 just fine for someone who wants a bird watching or looking for objects at close to a medium ranges is perfect. A 20-30 x power you must have at least 30-55 diameters for the light transparent and the superb lenses like the Swarovski or Carl-zeiss or the distance objects will be 7 degree earthquake through your reasonable price binos. I purchased several monocular including the very small 8x20 pocket one and my main purpose is using it to see the numbers of the buses from half mile down several blocks to which is mine. Finally, this Celestron G2 is my choice. Well built, lightweight and finally the most important is a nice fully coasted BAR-4 lens with good prism and a very stable image appears through the coasted lens I can easily read the bus's line numbers clearly half mile away that other binoculars can't. I highly recommend ! Read full review
