So one reviewer complained about the flicker on one of the modes and they are correct the lowest mode uses pulse regulation to turn the brightness down. Not a big deal for most people and if it bothers you medium mode is amazing. Look out when you turn it up to full brightness this thing is incredible. I will not take away any stars for the flicker because let's face it, this is the only light of its kind in this class and I think it's well worth the price paid. Great light with an incredibly floody beam.

The light is very well build, and its very reliable. However, the problem with the light is battery life (the battery drains in a matter of minutes and high setting goes quickly to medium in less then eight minutes of the light being turned on into high mode). Due to the low battery life it makes it no better than a key chain light from maglite. In addition, the light is very heavy for a key chain light, and with time it will damage a cars ignition switch due to its weight. If a keychain light is desired, I highly recommend the Surefire Sidekick instead, the battery life is longer, and weight is lower which makes it more suitable for a keychain light.

They say the best flashlight you ever owned is the one you had with you when you really needed it. This little guy is easy to operate and packs one heck of a punch on high. Very well built which you would expect from Surefire. If you are looking for a light to carry everyday this is it. A little pricey for such a compact light but worth every penny.

It is a great little light. This is of the typical surefire quality you would expect. I believe the light is well constructed and has a decent output for a single AAA battery. This isn’t a replacement for the E1B backup, but is a good tiny edc flashlight. The price point isn’t very good but if you need a reliable flashlight that takes very little real-estate this is it.

I was a little bit underwhelmed by this little light. It's not as powerful as I expected a 300 lumen light to be. It gets hot pretty quickly on the 300 lumen setting. It's rather heavy for it's size. The beam is wide, and we'll dispersed, so I guess that makes up for it's perceived lack of power. It will get a lot of use, so we'll just have to wait, and see about how rugged it is. All said, and done; I think it's way overpriced. But, maybe I'll change my mind as things progress.
