    Good value in an 80/20

    I’ve found these 80/20 bronze strings run a little less $ than other name brand 80/20’s...especially in 3-6 packs. I think they’re just as good as the ones that sell for 25-50% more. Originally bought them for my old Samick porch beater but one day I opened up the Taylor and found the 3 month old Martin Silk-n-Steels I had on it had rusted horribly (prob from in-case humidifier) so I threw these on it because that’s what I had. Never turned back. Really nice tone. Plenty of finger noise and require a LOT of stretching to settle in but that’s inherent in these type of strings. Save your money...go with Ernie.

    Not for me....

    These strings are constructed well and well packaged as you would expect. I won't be buying them again, though, as they lack low end response. They are too bright and harsh for my acoustic playing. They might just be what other players prefer but as for me I will look elsewhere.

    Excellent strings.

    Swaped out the stock strings on a new Taylor GS that came with Elixir strings. Which were crap. Things strings are way better. Easy to play. Easy break in. I even put a set on my 9 year old daughters Mitchell acoustic. She was really discouraged. The strings on that guitar hurt her fingers, so I couldnt teach her any chords. Now with these. She is learning Cmaj, Em, Gmaj. In one day. Thes strings rule. Oh yeah forgot to mention. They sound amazing as well.

    High Quality and Affordable

    Crisp and crystal sounding. Durability is above average and tried for up to 6 months without losing sound or loudness. Best affordable strings giving high end sound and modulation. Tried quite a few strings from Martin,Markley,Elixir, Daddario,GHS and Fender. Don't know about other strings but quite comparable w/ these more expensive strings. Used in my yamaha cpx700, fender telecoustic and martin 000RS1 with a Roland AC-60 amp and PA.. I would highly recommend them as I use it at home, at the church and jamming w/ friends.

    I have used medium strings for years and have found the medium light strings gives a little better edge to sound and tuning..

    I like using the medium light strings on certain guitars. They are easy to work with and have an excellent sound. I have used both Ernie Ball medium and light strings in the past and was delighted to find the strings available in medium light.
