This is such a wonderful movie about fighting for what you believe in without using your fists. Gandhi was a wise man. He was a hero for many people all across the world. He never backed down and did it with grace. It is a must see in my opinion.
We are travelling to India this spring and this movie was recommended to understand the culture and varies religious beliefs. It was well done and we recommend it to anyone who would like to have a better understand of India, the British rule and the independence of India and why it split from Pakistan because of the different cultures.
Story of a charismatic leader. Loved the man. This epic drama does not always seem to move fast enough. Candice Bergen is out of place.
