CAT PEOPLE is an entertaining sexy/horror/thriller starring Nastasja Kinski (Tess) and Malcolm MacDowell (A Clockwork Orange). Both actors star as brothers who've been away from each other for some time. Irena (Kinski) does not know (or doesn't want to know) that she has the curse of the cat people and that sooner or later her "other" self will rise. Her Brother (McDowell) makes sure that she knows their incestuous roots and effectively plays the baddie in the picture. CAT PEOPLE moves at a nice pace and features some cool special effects by make up veteran Tom Burman. There are some gory scenes but these are few yet graphic. Kinski gives a great performance and looks absolutely hot in her totally naked scenes. The DVD features a decent dolby 5.1 mix and a cool behind the scenes documentary. All in all, a great purchase from E-Bay and a "must-see" movie fans of 80's horror. I think that the soundtrack itself sends chills down the back of my neck.The setting was beautiful(New Orleans) and also brief appearances by now veteran actors. The movie itself really scared the crap out of me as a child,so thats part of the reason I like it. Also, one of my favorite actors, Malcolm McDowell(Clockwork Orange) was a major player. Oh, let's not forget the seductively hottt! Nastassia Kinski, daughter of Klaus Kinski, a horror film icon. She embodies the role of a naive woman-child, stuck in a confusing and troubling time of self-discovery and the secret that haunts her family history. Two Thumbs up!

Cat people is entertaining and dynamic. The intrioduction of the movie entails the leopards and women being sacrificed to them. The people that sacrifised their young to the leopards until the people become the leopards. This movie is suspensful as the protagonist is unaware of how she and her brother plays an essential part of the story.
