Pretty cool flick. One of my favorite sci fi horror films. I saw it on screen when I was a kid and it scared me to death . One of a kind..featuring Steve Railsback (Helter Skelter 1976) and Patrick Stewart ( Star Trek TNG, X-Men). I highly recommend. From director Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist).

Steve Railsback plays an astronaut on a joint American-British mission to explore Halley's Comet. He discovers a derelict alien spacecraft which contains a beautiful - and completely naked - space vampire played by French actress Mathilda May. Through a series of unlikely plot convolutions the Space Girl ends up in London, where she wanders around naked infecting people with the vampire disease until Railsback finally kills her and himself by driving a sword through both their naked bodies. This is one of those movies where the audience never reaches the minimum level of "suspension of disbelief." Every new plot twist is less believable than the one that proceeded it, and the silliness level rises to the point that the only positive consequence is laughter. Seeing Mathilda May is almost worth the price of admission, but otherwise this film should only be viewed by people like myself who enjoy unintentionally hilarious filmmaking. Read full review

On the outside this video is suspected to be another low budget horror flick with a crappy plot, unknown actors, and red paint. From the inside it will blow your mind, and I should have known better; its directed by Toby Hooper. Starts off to appease, and boy does it appease the sci fi fan. Follows through with soul sucking zombies and ends with a beautiful blood bath with ruined city to boot. The effects and make up are surprisingly top notch and the villian is a curvacious treat for the eyes. Your gonna love it!
I love what the movie brings; its horror elements. I have loved the movie when it first came out.

This is one of my favorite Sci-Fi flicks! It has been underrated for decades like "The Thing" or "Dune" I wanted for a long time to add it to my collection!
