Review for Elementary Surveying
The book is exactly what I needed for my surveying course at Auburn. It includes great examples and explanations all throughout the book. Its easy to use and understand. I got the book through Ebay at close to the same price I found it elsewhere but it did include the CD which was hard to find.

Differences between international and US copy
This is the international version of Elementary Surveying, by Charles D. Ghilani. The book itself is different in two different ways: the cover looks different, and its NOT a hardcover text book. I bought this book for a college course I'm talking and EVERYTHING inside is the same as the US edition. I can follow the instructor page to page, word for word. The main reason why I purchased the international edition instead of the the US edition was due to the price difference. I saved alot of money by going with this version.

Useful but lacks some understanding
I bought the book for a plane surveying class. You’ll likely expect your instructor to give more experience on surveying than you will get from the book. That is if the instructor uses their knowledge than read the book. Book gives details and history as you flow through chapters but lacks understanding in helping you solve [math] problems.

Perfect - No complaints
This is exactly the book I wanted and for less money than at my school who could complain. The only difference I have found with international editions is that they are cheaper - otherwise exactly the same book. Highly Recommended

This product helps me survey better. Im unfortunate to not have Doug Smith's quote on the back that is contained in the hardcover edition
