Shojo (manga based on real life, primarily relationships, etc.) is usually pretty predictable. I enjoy it, but lately, shojo mangas have bored me--until this one. Yu Watase has mixed humor, flawless artwork, and a totally twisted, comical, and fun plot together to make a great read! When I pick a manga, my first check is on the artwork. A manga with boring-looking characters or hard to read comic bubbles is a definite turnoff, but AB isn't like that. Second is the plot. The plot revolves around "what would you do if a mechanical boyfriend was dropped on your doorstep?" Not the most amazing idea, but it was definitely worthy of catching a glance from me, and I'm glad I picked it up. I won't disclose more information, because I am known to give it all away, but if you're wondering what the answer is to that question, read it! (Pretty mild, but not really for children. Best for 14+ in my opinion)Read full review

In this volume, Riiko, Night (Nightly Lover figure), and Soshi's relationship get into further steps. Riiko feels she is starting to like Night, and has a bit feeling for Soshi. But she is uncertain. Because of oweing the Nightly Lover company $1 million dollars, Riiko has to find a way to earn money to pay the maintanence fee. So did Night. For the other rest important scenes :) It is better to keep them secret. You will find out when you read it. It is a great manga and a must-have manga if you love to read romance book. With great funny humors in the book as well.Read full review
The second volume in a series about a your average high school girl who just can't seem to find a man...until one day a naked one shows up at her doorstep wanting to be her boyfriend! Unfortunately for Riiko, Night is an android...a very very very expensive android. Definitely too expensive for a student to afford! And as she attempts to pay off her debt to Kronos Heaven for unintentionally purchasing him, she gets into lots of trouble... The series takes a dark turn in this volume from a romantic comedy to a heart-breaking drama. The quality of Yuu Watase's work definitely didn't change or suffer in this volume, so if you loved the first volume, you'll love this one too, but be prepared to have your heart wrenched and aching for the third installment!
