Like most Chinese forgeries, it sort of looks like the real thing, but not really, and is of dubious quality. The paints poorly applied, as the paint is faint in places, and runny in others. Worse part is trying to keep the parts to the cans BY the cans. There are no integrated holders for the pour spouts, and the funnel adaptor that's required on the newer vehicles that don't have gas caps. So there are two pieces, that if you misplace them, or forget to bring them, render the can useless. The metal pour spouts that you must install use a rubber gasket that easily falls out, so one MORE thing to keep track of. Other than that, they ARE metal gas cans that are fairly well constructed, and unlike the newer plastic cans that are impossibly difficult to actually use, these you can. You can't store them on the ground, as they'll rust. And they will buckle, swell etc, in the heat, so if you have a she'd with a dry floor, your in business. I store mine in a rack on the shady side of my home. I bought them because I live in a coastal county, so hurricanes, tornados, storms happen often enough, that we have two large gen sets for our home and our camper. Being able to run the sets on fuel or propane gives us days to weeks without power, depending on how much prep time we have to fill containers. I have four now, and I'm buying four more soon, so....they work well enough. I'm also buying spare pour spout gaskets when I order more cans. Your either prepared, or your not. You either suffer or don't. During and after hurricane Harvey, we had power and AC whenever we wanted. We were able to help others with communication, food and water. Having the only working well for miles, made us a popular stop, and we had TV, internet, etc, others could use to contact family, and stay updated. The gas for the house genset came from these cans.

These Jerry cans were a good value & they were delivered rapidly.
They seem to be good storage until you try to pour gas into anything using the attachable spout. The gasket leaks gas as soon as you tilt the can.
The can also only has a handle on top and no way to grab the bottom to aid in lifting the can from the bottom for easier pouring and balance.

Although I like the old US Army gas cans better, these run a good second place. This is the second set of four that I've bought. There is a vent with a tube in the spout that allows a faster pour, but you initially have to cover it with your them to avoid a small spill. The vent actually helps the pour go faster and smoother. I don't use these daily, but instead store fuel in them. If it were for daily use, it would be annoying that the rubber gaskets often fall by the side when you open the can.
Seem to be well built for the price, a little rust shown on the inside. More ... Seem to be well built for the price, a little rust shown on the inside. More comforatable with these over the plastic ones.
Awesome gas can! I Checked the quality paint thickness are good no rust from inside ... Awesome gas can! I Checked the quality paint thickness are good no rust from inside and out. This is good for fuel storage in the garage next to the vent and only for garage storage, if you decide to take off roading it may not last but it still work as long as there's is no leak!!!! For $80 4 pieces anyday compare to 1 piece.
