The house of Dior was founded in 1946 by French fashion designer Christian Dior. The brand name is known for its haute couture collections, luxurious ready-to-wear fashions, cosmetics and fragrances. In 1947 Christian Dior introduced the “New Look”, which became popular worldwide and influential in women's fashion. The same year, The house of Dior issued a perfume to match its new fashion line: Miss Dior, named after the designer's sister Catherine. Over the years the company continues the tradition of making exceptional and luxury scents and aromas, filled in beautifully designed bottles.
