Mine was inexpensive so that affects my review. Takes 6 aa batteries or easy to find proprietary adapter. Voltage is a little odd. Keys are the same size as a piano full but definitely not weighted (i.e. spring action). Transpose an octave up or an octave down gets you almost the entire range of a piano 85/88 save the A0 to B0. (lowest three piano notes) with 61 keys. 400 voices gives you just about every sound you might imagine so this may be enough for you, but it's nevertheless equipped with USB out in case you want to send a MIDI signal to a USB port on your laptop or tablet. Its possible to get to other midi devices with a $50 midi host/expander (lots of products out there). With a folding stand the "footprint" of this keyboard is more like a sax than a guitar. Its lightweight so highly portable. Cons: No old school midi, No way to assign one voice to the left and another to the right. Overall : Outstanding compared to any of the previous beginner models I've tried. Nothing like an upper model, though. Intermediate level. Bargain.Read full review

Has several really nice sounds on it. It has some not so good but all keyboards have some of those. Built well also.
