I purchased this phone for my 11 year old so she would have a slide out to replace her old cell. I researched many phones but went with this one because it has: 1) Music player 2) camera 3) video recorder 4) it texts 5) Amazon.com and other reviews 6) cost because it is an older model it was less expensive. It works great and does more than she needs it to do right now; like internet or e-mail, but the functions are there when I want to set them up. I don't really have any complaints because the things I wish were there I knew were not there when I selected this phone which was $20.00 during Feb. 2011 here on Ebay (It had a few scratches on the screen, but unnoticsble when phone is in use.) It would have been nice to have MMS smileys work or a touch screen but its for a a tween not a geeky adult like myself. Samsung T369 did not disappoint! (P.S. she loves the dural slide out)Read full review
I love this for my backup phone. I've gone over most of the features, but don't have a lot of them because I'm using a SIM from my Smartphone and the account doesn't have the old-fashioned phone features. The features that do work are good for texting with sound/pictures, full keyboard works good (with minor double-entry). Addressbook and Organizer featurs are pretty good for non-smartphone. The basic web2go browser works, just not purchasing ring-tones and stuff.
got this phone for my little sister. it is a great starter phone for a young teen. i believe that an iphone is still not necessary or many times appropriate for kids for many different reasons. this phone has all that young teens can need and a bit more. it has a full Qwerty keyboard, web2go access, good speaker and mic, etc. granted that it is a "budget" phone, it does not have touch screen, but the qwerty and number pad are more than appropriate. it also has some preloaded games, and you can buy more and download them if you want. the battery lasts a good amount of time. the loudspeaker is clear.
The phone is great for texting and talking. Love it. Only minus is that the texting conversations cant be put into group conversations per person and the internet capabilities are weak. I would rate this a very basic entry level "smartphone" simply because of its awesome keyboard and plenty of features.
I was looking for a phone as a gift and I found it...I love this phone and it was pretty easy to use.I love the whole "sliding motion" and I love the keypad and its easy to type and use. The phone is compact and sleek and fits nicely in my pocket.
