The iPhone 5 is definitely a step up from the iPhone 4. It does not lag very much, I like the size and width of it, and the speaker is better than 4, but... it does not have very long battery life and will sometimes crash. I'm not sure if this happens to me because its cold where I live, but if others are experiencing this problem too this is not a phone for people who want really long battery life. Other than this problem, it is a very well made iPhone and is great for people who do not want to spend a lot of money.

After having an Ipad, I am very happy I made the switch from android to the Iphone. It is very easy to use and has tons of great apps. The battery life is average, but it charges very quickly so I haven't had a problem. I like how it automatically connects with my ipad, so I can see texts, my calendar, and other things on both automatically. I like how if I there is an address in a text or email, it will automatically populate into the maps when I begin a search. The only problem I have is that the phone crashes frequently when using the camera feature. It will just turn off and won't turn back on right away, indicating that the battery is dead, despite being fully charged. It will turn on after several minutes. I still need to look into that one.
I have used Android for many years now, so I am somewhat biased. I was looking to give an iPhone a try for the sake of being open and not sticking narrowly to one OS. Apple makes great solid quality products, that is simply a fact. You pay more, but your quality is equal to what you pay for. The iPhone form factor is nice and luxurious and all, but the screen size is a bit of a challenge to get acclimated to coming from a Galaxy S3. The iPhone's 7.1 iOS operating system offered a few features I was mainly interested in (e.g. iTunes music syncing & iCloud/iPhoto syncing) for connecting to my macbook air. However, the features offered from Android's Kit Kat 4.4.2 were sorely missed and just leaving too much desire to stay the course and use the iPhone 5 for the remainder of it's shelf life. Back on ebay the item will go, happy bidding everyone.Read full review

For a smartphone that is 4-5 years old the iPhone 5 is still a versatile gadget. It's not the lighting fast iPhone 7, but this phone won't lag you to death. After being plagued by screen disease on the iPhone 6 Plus and after 5 replacement phones from Apple and my phones Carriers insurance i finally became fed up and bought the last good iPhone I owned. Expect to replace the battery on these phones, due to the age the battery life will no longer be acceptable for every day use. The good news is that replacing the battery is easy and can be done with the right tools. Watch a lot of YouTube videos and take your time.
