The cricket cptr is a good cell phone. It is a camera phone with several features that are useful. First the bluetooth function is great to have, for instants hands free driving for one. The speakerphone function is another. And also you can personalize your contacts with photos assigned to numbers accordingly. The phone is a tri-band phone for use on most cricket networks. All in all I give a 10 for performance and handling. The cost is very reasonable. I recommend this phone.
It was very easy to text on this phone. I put an 8GB into it's Micro SD card slot to shuffle tunes and take pictures all day. There's no flash, but it takes fairly decent pictures (up to 1280x960). It's cute and stylish. The buttons are not clicky or sluggish so my fingers flowed very well when I navigated. I like this phone so much I bought a protective case for it, even though the phone alone can take more than a few drops. My friends who have IPhones wanted my phone the moment they saw it and fiddled with it. I would've liked a 3.5 headphone jack instead of a 2.5, but I can easily find a converter at any electronics store. The battery life is very good even throughout the day when I played my music. I haven't had full bars before but it never dropped a call, it's very responsive, and perfectly priced. If I may gush, I like how the sliding mechanism feels so sometimes I just slide it for fun. Great phone and I wouldn't have mind paying even 50 dollars for it.Read full review

I bidded and won a Samsung SCH-450 Messenger Phone from Revived Cellular Technology for $50.00, This company should be put out of business. I am VERY dis-satified with this phone. The screen is so scratched up it's like looking thru a pair of bi-focal glasses. The phone is missing buttons, not only does the phone have scratches, it has dents all over of it. This companys mislead me when they said it had a few scratches and MINOR wear, That's a bald face lie. This phone should have gone in the trash, but this company Revived sold is this phone to a customer. You people should be ashamed of the type of business you're running, and the kind of product you're selling customers. I am so angry I don't know what to do.
The TXTM8 is a sliding-style phone, equipped with QWERTY keyboard, and a few ports for different forms of input/output (charger & usb, memory card, earbud/headphone jack). It is about the size of a powder compact, which is good if you like saving space in your bag or pocket. While the buttons are pretty small, they are still rather easy to use. The TXTM8 can either be bought in conjunction with one of Cricket's regular wireless plans (with the activation fee being $15 maximum) , or with one of their PAYGo plans--and none of the Cricket plans require a binding 2-year contract. With PAYGo, there are no extra fees or taxes to pay--those are already included in PAYGo's $45/mo. plan. You are only charged for the days you use your phone to call, text, or surf the web(no charge for web if you are only looking at Cricket's webpages, such as the Cricket Storefront). As a PAYGo phone, it would cost $79.99 at a Cricket Wireless dealer, plus tax. $5.00's worth of service (or 5 days of talk) are complementary upon activation (which you can do online, by phone dialing *228, or in-person). If you want a nice smartphone without being bound to a 2-year contract, the TXTM8 is one such savvy option offered by Cricket Wireless.Read full review
