So Far my Daughter loves the phone. It is easy to use and has a nice slide out keyboard, which she likes cause she texts alot. Also the dedicated Camera Botton is nice makes taking pictures easy.
This is a great device. I subtracted a star for the battery because it is a bit sub-par. This is just to keep the form factor of the phone. I bought a extend battery from amazon and it lasts forever. I use this primly for streaming Pandora. Note this device doesn't support for streaming to a chrome cast if any of you were wondering. As a media device it is great. I don't intend to use it as a phone but I don't see why it wouldn't make a great one.
I don't know about all the other reviews, but steer clear of this hunk of junk. I've had it almost a year now, it's been replaced once because of the headphone port locking up the earpiece. U.S. Cellular couldn't figure out the problem. Next, the replacement Apex was sitting on the counter when I received a call......the phone just went crazy with a continuous, relentlessly obnoxious haptic buzz that wouldn't quit. I drove to the U.S. Cellular store so they could see what it was doing.........they gave me a loaner to get me to March 2 (3 days from now) when I can turn in my Reward Points and get another phone. I wanted to warn others about this phone. To sum things up: U.S. Cellular...GOOD! LG Apex...BAAAAAAD! (Oh, Yeah.....this puppy just shreds batteries. Plan on buying spares.
It's a good phone that's light weight and easy to use. The only downfall is the battery length. The fact that you can't move apps from the device onto the memory card is a negative as well. Other than those two things it's definately a good buy!
I always buy LG to begin with.. But this is my first Android and I LOVE it!!! Its pretty easy to figure out and has lots of features!! The battery last for quite awhile as long as your not playing games and such!! I use it quite a bit with text and checking facebook and only charge it at night time!! I like it alot!
