This is an improvement over the Eternity I in that you can now customize the widget bar to suit your needs. I had a few problems to start with but then I went to the Samsung web site and downloaded the user manual. Once I read it everything became a lot clearer. I like the sliding main pages because it allows me to use 3 different wallpapers and I can put apps on each one so they're not all jammed into one page. The menu is also on three pages which can be expanded to more as you collect more apps. As a music player, it performs second to none. It has 2 speakers, 1 on the front and 1 on the back, along with a built in equalizer which make the music leap out. It sounds good through the speakers but when you put on headsets it'll blow you away. I have had no problem with the talk as I can understand and be understood by others. The keyboard is small but I have large hands so I use a stylus anyway. I don't use it for the web other than checking email and sending text so that's not a big deal for me.I've had mine for over a week now and have had no problems with it freezing up. The software for the computer interface is as simple as drag and drop when it come to managing files.Read full review
For the person that just needs a phone that works for making calls and receiving this is it. It's easy to operate and the battery life is good. its rugged and can withstand abuse. The camera is nothing to write home about, but is decent.

I purchased this because I finally decided to upgrade to a REAL smartphone from my Motorola KRZR, I had been resistant to touchscreen phones but I like this one because it's small and not as hard to use as I thought it would be. Another thing I absolutely LOVE about this phone (eventhough it is outdated compared to other phones, it being NON-Android preserves my privacy when using Facebook. Android phones use DATA for everything. This phone allows me to talk, text and USE the internet (surf, download, etc) WITH NO NEED for DATA packages and works especially well with my AT&T PREPAID $50 unlimited talk, text and web plan.
This is by far the best phone I ever had. I love the fact that I can access my phone's features on my computer, and even connect my computer to the internet through my phone, with the NPS (New PC Studio) software you can download at Samsung's website. I also ordered an antenna for my phone so I can expand the range and reception, so I have better reception and less dead zones.
I really like this phone great for messaging, text, the camera and video work great good mobile web connetion you can arrange the widgets just the way you want easy to change the setting only problem that you can't use the tv function or remove the media player, alarm for widget bar.. I would recomend this phone
