great phone.screen blacks out alot though, then I have to take the battery out and put it back in to start the phone up again. other than that and that the battery dies quickly its a great android phone. love the talking feature, its hard when u need to type quickly and have to retype alot becuase ur finger hits the wrong button, its easier and quicker with the talk feature, where u can say it and the phone will type it. also the talk feature actually does seem to recognize the majority of what u say into it.
The good: The Sanyo Zio has a user-friendly design and agreeable call quality. Its functional feature set includes a File Browser app. The bad: The Sanyo Zio runs Android OS 1.6. Speakerphone calls and music quality over the external speakers was shrill. The bottom line: The Sanyo Zio isn't the fanciest Android phone, but it's an ideal beginner smartphone for Cricket customers. It's easy to use and its feature set offers the essentials, though we don't like that it runs Android OS 1.6. Review: Photo gallery: Sanyo Zio M6000 (Cricket Wireless) Now that Android has made it to all "big four" national carriers, it was only a matter of time before it visited some of the smaller wireless operators in the United States. U.S. Cellular got its turn earlier this year with the Samsung Acclaim and HTC Desire, and now Cricket Wireless follows with the Sanyo Zio M6000. Originally introduced as the Kyocera Zio (Kyocera bought the Sanyo brand last year), the M6000 offers a minimalist design and a feature set that centers on the basics. This phone is an awesome phone with its Android 2.2. I am able to use a lot of apps from the Android Market. I keep on installing and uninstalling them and one bad thing about it is that the memory on the phone gets full even though I have a micro memory card installed. My friend does not have the same problem as I. That is a good thing to know but I am not able to get a hold of him. (sucks for me)
I bought this phone to use as a media player. Plays music mp3s and movies mp4s well. Also installed nook app and kindle app to use as a portable ereader. Can browse the internet with wifi. I can make free wifi phone calls with nettalk, the Gps works great with co-pilot. I paid 35.00 a great value for the features this phone has, on airplane mode the battery will last a long time. cgarger
Its a great deal. You get what you pay for and this is one of the cheapest androids around. Its easy to use but kind of slow.
