The phone is Perfect for young ones, (That's why I bought it, for my little daughter who was crying for a phone), just getting a new cell and getting into the system but there's one major Flaw. Along with the incredible pricing to the phone, you must Notice that the phone looks a lot like the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S, which is cool but this is a Major warning to anyone who wants to buy this phone cause it's cheap. WARNING: Do not but this phone if you intend to unlock it and work it on any other service provider. It Will Not Work. The phone was especially made for US Cellular and their operatives ONLY so it would be unless try and buy this phone thinking "Oh it's cheap, I can just unlock it and it will work with my service provider." No, my friend, It will not work. Don't buy this phone on that thought alone, you Will be GRAVELY DISAPPOINTED. It is not like the T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S version, they look alike but they are not the Same. Other than that, the phone is perfect and will work on just the service provider that came with it. Love it!! I can put so many more apps on this phone then other phones I have had! Big screen size and easy to use!!
If you want better performance, go ahead and upgrade it to android 4 or just clean the phone.

my first smart phone i did have to get another battery and a sim card but after that it works great its easy to use and the screen is very clear
