A great little Android smart phone! I have a GS2, and got two of these Conquers for my husband and son. And they really like them! But for me personally, being used to a GS2 it would be a little bit of a downgrade. For example, some of the quick features (like the drop down menu on my GS2 has quick buttons for wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc..) Which are not on the drop down menu on the Conquer. You navigate to them via menus or by finding the widget if available that controls each feature and adding it to a screen. It has a decent camera, that does shoot in various modes and has various settings. The phone is not really loud, so music playback and some of the ringtones are not as loud as I would prefer, but sufficient. Screen is bright and responsive even with Invisi-Shield on. It is compact, more like the size of an ipod touch. Has a standard size headphone jack, no adapters needed for headphones. Auto focus for the camera is done with a half touch of the side button istead of tapping the touch screen, but shutter click can be done on the screen or with full touch of the side button. Battery life is ok, not great, but ok. But even with a few basic differences, I find it very much like using my GS2 Android smartphone and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes or wants Android platform and performance.Read full review
The phone itself is very nice and user friendly, however, Sprint's service has been awful lately. The roam indicator comes on frequently even in my own house. Most of the time I can't get a 3G signal or any signal at all. Lately I have been having difficulty sending text messages. I'm just very dissatisfied with Sprint. Once my contract is up I will consider another carrier. I may even try prepay. It may be just as bad as Sprint but half the monthly price I'm paying now.
the phone has a cheap touch screen making it hard to type with always hitting period instead of space key. It however does run without lag and battery isnt that bad at all. I would recomened the htc arrive for sprint since there about the same price and it has slide out keyboard and nice glass touchscreen
I absolutely love this phone. It has everything I wanted in a phone. I really love the front face camera now I can video chat with out of town family and friends. The only problem I had was removing the SD card I removed it and put it back on the phone would not except it saying it was damaged. But I put the same card in another phone and it pulled all my info up as usual. . But the SD card sensitivity is my only problem
