well, the auction called it a factory reconditioned phone... that was lie number 1. it was not factory reconditioned, or even reconditioned at all. in fact i had to clear out all of the phone numbers, txt messages and data. i was told that it had a new cover on the outside, which it did but it clearly was not from verizon, but rather a china town version because the paint has almost completly worn off. the same applies for the "new" battery. the paint on that has also worn off, leaving just grey plastic instead of matching the silver of the rest of the phone. it also doesnt hold a charge through a 24 hour period. the phone itself is great. does what it is supposed to do... make and recieve calls. it gets great service and rings loudly. i bought it because verizon would not help me with a replacement after my old phone broke, and i am not in the market to spend $400+ on a phone.Read full review
LG is known for making consumer friendly products. The LG VX4400 boasts and amazing menu system that is easy to use, clear, and colorful. Screen quality is great on this phone, and the reception is remarkable. There are drawbacks however!! The phone is BIG. It is a thick brick of a phone, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in durability. It also doesnt offer many customizing features. If you can get it for under 50 bucks youve got yourself a good deal. If not, use your money to go to a phone that will fit into your purse or pocket!
Bought this phone to replace my broken vx4500 of 3 years that got a broken screen. The things to like this phone for are: Durability...this is a tough and sturdy phone with no intentions of breaking open due to everyday use or even a little roughness and drops. Signal...never had a poor quality or dropped call. Ease of use...this is simple and sweet, no bells or whistles, just what you need to get your job done. It has calender, 3 alarms, and the other basics, and nothing fancy. The things NOT to like.... No Speaker phone. Hate that. Big and Ugly. Yes, this phone is not attractive and especially not in your front pocket..its heavy and bigger than any phone should be. No driving Mode, which is something I miss from my nice little 4500 (which Is a great phone BTW..same pros as this phone but minus the cons)..(but the 4400 outmatches the 4500 in durability easily) Other than that, Its good. I dont particually like it, and will probably make a change to something else in the near future.Read full review
A nice little phone for the price (free with my contract), but doesn't have a lot of the latest features. This was my first phone that I could access the web and Verizon's other ringtone/game features. It took a pretty good beating from me and held up pretty well. Toward the end though, shutting the phone would not end a call (could be bad situation depending on who you were talking to). You had to press the end call button. Also, the battery was easily exposed to water, even from a nearby pop can.
Pros: Design Size Battery Life Keypad Messaging Software Easy to master and use ( even older people can use it ) Cons: volume no camera GREAT PHONE FOR ALL AGES ( 15-65 years old) those who are scared of technology can pick this phone up and use it easily and eventually master it within 30 minutes of being introduced. this is a solid phone, not easily breakable and has great battery life! this phone only drawback is no camera, but who needs one when a phone is so easy to use? and you do not even need a camera in the first place!
