I was looking for a backup/emergency phone $5/month phone on an alternate network (T-Mobile). My other phones are ATT. This fit the bill and was a great value for the price paid. Haven't had it long enough of used enough to evaluate battery life.

for very basic phone services, phone works fine. most of the more advanced operations that are advertised are complicated to get to get to, set up and get to day in and day out. Also, smaller overall than I thought from viewing item on website ( I know - I should held a tape measure or ruler up and saw for myself). Overall, I give it a C+.

This phone includes features such as web-browsing, texting, media center, and a personal organizer. Great for anyone who isn't interested in purchasing a highly advanced phone when all they want to do is call and/or text. I chose this phone because: 1. It has great battery life. 2. It has a sim card slot allowing me to use this phone with a variety of different carriers. 3. It's not a smart phone and therefore, I don't have to purchase special service plans. The only downside of this phone is its operating system and the lack of an independent speakerphone button. Since the phone is based on Java, it's resource intensive. Simply said, battery life isn't as good as it could be. Yet it's still much better than anything you'll ever get with today's smartphones. Of course, the independent speakerphone button situation is more preference than problem. The speakerphone is an included feature and can be activated by pressing the "OK" button when engaging in phone conversations.Read full review
Excellent basic phone. Nothing flashy, good battery life, easy to use. Make calls, text, and have an alarm clock. That's pretty much it. Price was much better from the seller I used than most retail chains. Only dislike for me is the outer display features. This thing likes to use the entire outside screen to notify you of things. Hitting the volume cycles it and can cause you to miss calls/texts when your not paying attention, not hitting it means you cant see the clock without cycling through crap, and any time you send/receive a call the name or number is posted on the outside display even when the phone is open. There is no option to turn this off. I'm not sure what genius thought that was a good idea, but its not the first model I've seen do this. Display aside, if your looking for a good base model this is it.Read full review
I bought this for my 89 y.o. mother in-law, who is technology challenged. Her new flip phone is far too complicated and the hinge has broken once already in 3 months. She needs to make phone calls and receive voicemail, loud and vibrant. Anything else is confusing. This is a small, sturdy, simple flip phone. Perfect for those needing less. Thanks!
