I bought this phone as a backup phone. I only bought it because it was used and cheap. I activated it through Tracfone. I have owned many Tracfones over the years. I have no complaints and recommend this phone. If you just want to make calls and not use it for much more than that it is great. Battery life is average but all phones have average battery life compared to Nokia phones which have the best battery life period. The best feature of this phone is the reception. This phone has 5 bars (the maximum) everywhere outside and in buildings it receives a full 5 bars that no other phone can match. I compared it to other phones inside the same buildings using AT&T, T-MOBILE (sim cards), Verizon, Sprint, Metro PCS, Qualcomm, and Virgin Mobile (CDMA) and this phone beats them all in reception in buildings by a long shot. AT&T and T-MOBILE get decent indoor signals. All of the listed CDMA'S above can't even get a respectable bar signal in buildings. This is in the Tampa Bay area. I activated it through Tracfone using a T-MOBILE sim card. The antenna system is the reason this phone has the best reception. I also have an LG100C and that phone has poor reception through Qualcomm (CDMA) indoors and sometimes outdoors.Read full review
